About Us

Cheshire Angling Development Group

The Cheshire ADG brings together people interested in developing angling in the local authority areas of Cheshire East, Cheshire West and Warrington.

We provide a forum for coaches, clubs, local authority officers, tackle shops, etc. to discuss the development of angling in the area, particularly with respect to young people in the sport.

We focus on:

- club development and ClubMark accreditation
- coaching resources
- equality / equity issues
- regional fishing competitions
- talent pathways

The group is set up by the Angling Development Board (ADB), and is one of 5 County Angling Development Groups in the North West.

We meet every few months in Knutsford.
Currently, the following fishing clubs represented on the group. We are always looking for more members:

- Bay Malton AC
- Congleton AS
- Lymm AC
- Northwich Anglers
- Penketh & Old Hall AS
- Prince Albert AS
- Winsford & District
- Warrington Anglers
